Warp Feed makes a beeping sound??

I was reading the XMOD manual and read that pressing the bottom button on my Emag for less than 1 second will advance my warp feed, okay cool, lets try it. No dice, instead it causes my warp feed to emit this beeping / high pitched buzzing sound and the warp does not turn. The warp feed works perfectly when the trigger is pulled.

Can anyone shed some light on what might be causing this?

Okay, I figured it out. I took the jumper for the Warp's sensor out and it worked fine.

It is a piezo-electric sensor so that would explain where the sound came from, however, I don't understand why it would be different from pulling the trigger or pressing the Emag button
