    classic automag air troubles

Hey there all. This gun is not new to me but this has me stumped. I made the misstake of taking my gun to a pro shop here in Toronto. My problem was the gun would loose pressure after not fireing for a few mins. Easy on and off at the asa and you can hear the cocking action. Fires fine till u stop shooting for a few mins.. So I took it in to have it looked at. The "pro" promply cranked the volicity screw on the back 4 full turns... I should have stopped him right there bit he fired it as I tried to say wait. Pop and a long hiss of air came from barrel. He said oops. I said he'd better fix that... next day he got me it back to me and said its back in working order... with a slightly new problem now, now I can gassit up but it only fires once and the nothing. The trigger has not returned to seat . If I gas off and on it fires fine once.. PLEASE if some on can help id be in ur debt..
I have looked at all the wonderful bids and the bread down instructions for the bolt/ valve.

I have an CP asa and ninja air tank*3500*psi

On a side note I am using this gun on the set of warehouse 13 today. I do have 2 others back ups but need this one working asap.
    Thanks again

    It's A Mag Right??????

Hey where in Toronto are you? PM me...

I might be able to help you out and take a look at it for free maybe even share an o-ring , but it would be grate if you had a o-ring parts kit already.

    Up to you...and good luck.

P.S. where exactly did you take it already, which place?

    D.K.

Oil? It really sounds like something is binding in there. Possibly some teflon tape or hard loctite was shot into the valve system. Open it up and detail it with a qtip.

Second issue sounds like bolt stick. Not sure about the POP though.

      3500 PSI?

I have had that issue and the spring pack was damaged, how does the spring pack look? Also might check the regulator seat and make sure that it isnt too old and yellow and stiff.

Sounds like bolt stick. Is it a level 10 bolt or level 7 bolt? If it is level 7, then you will need a longer spacer. If it is level 10, then you need to install the proper carrier size for the oring in the powertube.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
