    RT Classic questions...

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum and mags in general but I now understand the obsession. I just purchased an RT classic and have a few questions about it. I know the valve uses the air through rail instead of the standar fitting but does this narrow the type of bodies I can put on it? I'd like to possibly put a vert feed ULE body on it eventually.

With the RT classic you are stuck with the body thats on it
there has been talk by a few different people over the years about making newer bodies for the RT classic, it just hasnt happened
I had Luke do a vert feed on mine, and put an Ego feedneck on it, that made me alot happier with mine

What makes it that way? Is it just the bigger hole for the banjo bolt? If I can't go vert maybe I'll just run a warp into the lower side of the powerfeed.

I'm also wondering if I can put an intelliframe on it. Any help would be appreciated.

you can use an inteliframe, you just need to drill out the rear hole to fit the banjo bolt
cant remember for sure, but I want to say 11/32

I remember having to hunt for the bit when I drilled my emag lowers

Good to know! So what is the major differences between the bodies that makes it not possible to swap them?

the majority of the valve sits within the body too whereas all other non-classic-RT valves sit about 50% directly on the rail and the other half inside the body

there may be other factors as well but that's a primary one.

*You can add lvl 10 to a RT

*You cannot add ULT to a RT valve without modifiying the valve to accpet it.

*Triggerframe like the intelli will fit after the hole is enlarged. So pretty much everything can be made to fit. You may run into issues with frames like the e90, Ver. This is because there are several slight differances between a RT & the newer guns

*Bodies you are pretty much stuck with whats on it. The only real choices are powerfeed or eurofeed (rare) & customfeeds like luke does.
