    Pic request: Galactic Z-valve on/off

Hey everyone, Well I recently acquired a Galactic Z-valve on/off I trying to figure how its suppose to be put together. I was hopping any of you Galactic Z-valve owners could post up or pm me a pic of it all put together with different views.

    Thanks,

I don't have mine handy right now.... but it's pretty simple/obvious usually... can you get me a pic of what you have?

the rubber goes in the hole, the cap goes on over the top, and the screw sticks out of the top of the cap with the spring on the screw shaft between the head and the cap. The little set screw on the cap goes to the REAR of the gun (closest to the feedneck)

    Anything I missed?

And by on/off I hope you mean the top spin device that's up on top of the gun... not the on/off in the valve.

Should look just like this with a small oring between the on/off top and body. And then your 2 typical top on/off orings.

So it should go Body, oring, insert pin through body and then on/off top(red part) then 2 top on/off orings.

          WOW!!!! Holy crap!!!!

Thanx Ando... I had/have one of those as well... damn... Never knew what it was.... Alright so totally disregard my former posts....

Now on to the on/off.... is this in anyway related to the Galactic Z body? Because I've never known of any relation between the 2.

I learn something new... well maybe not everyday... but yeah...

          Thanx.

Your boy who made the Z-body designed that on/off. There's also a actually Z-Barrel too which is harder then hell to find.

I've only seen one go up for sale and they wanted a pretty penny for it.

Well Well... I wish I could get in touch with Yoshi... and now I wish I knew what I did with that On/Off that I had... I took pics of it I remember that much.... I guess I'll have to dig through my pile and see if I still have it around.

The Z barrel was just a Lapco barrel with a large bore wasn't it? Something like a .697?

I don't know that I ever saw any labeling on it though... The only thing I remember was shooting the Z body over in Japan back in the day and was loving it... then there was HIS custom one that never went to production or even to the patent office.

hmmmm.... I didn't know that he tinkered with the on/off though....

Thanx man... how'd you come by this info if you don't mind me asking... can you tell me any place it was shown or published?

It came in small zip lock bag with all of this of these items not in its original package so I was little confuse on what I needed:

Does everything look complete? I know I need to add a o'ring to the main body but do I also need to place one on the end of the pin after the red part?

Well Ando has this one handled... it looks to me like there are 1.5 on/offs there... meaning there is the one complete one then a few parts for another one... but don't worry about anything else I say... I'm a noob on this note...

The 2 items you have to the far left is part of a Reactor Valve. It uses the same classic on/off pin. They do lighten the pull a little but they were made to keep the mag shooting a little better with Co2 from what someone said. I didn't see it but who the hell knows

Here's a pic of the install for that. Your basically sandwiching 2 top on/off orings between the disk looking thing and body and then 2 more at the top where they typically go.

Christ I need to hit the sack... Shouldn't have had that ALE8

BTW you have the body upside down.

And be careful you don't lose the disk part of the on/off reactor valve. They will very easily fall out when your pulling your valve out of your marker.

Thanks for all your help. Helpfully I will have a chance to test it out. I just realize all of my tanks are empty

Hey Ando.. Thanx for that link man... It's greatly appreciated. Now I wonder if I still have that Z on/off still or if I sold it off in a mag sometime... Oh well... we'll see. I know I don't have one of the 698 Z barrels and remember seeing one that you posted way back when... I guess I'll stick to my 697 and 693 barrels... Of course with paint shrinking these days a 689 will probably be fine...

                          Anywho.. thanx again...

He's in the red shirt front row...

I have the same .698 Lapco barrel, haven't had any issues with it not spinning the ball. I wish I had jumped on that Z-barrel though....Next time
