changing out a rt kit for a ule help

ok guys i know this is kind of a dumb question. this is my first mag and i have never changed out a rt for a ult go figure. what i was wondering is i i had to take out the oring and square cut oring to use the ule. i think i did because it wouldnt seat properly with it seated in the valve. thanks guys I just dont want to break anything in the valve or my mag in general.

No such thing as a dumb question. What exactly are you changing out? Just the body? It's just be a drop in replacement.

I was thinking it was about the on/off.

      Pics would be good.

ULE ,,, ULT Same diff , when you pull the R/T on/off out , the pin & 2 o-rings will a lot of time stay in the valve , Pin & 2 o-rings neeed to come out , make sure the ULT has the o-ring on top , then put it in the hole ,,,, then you can learn to tune it to your liking
