    Nicks on a barrel breech

I have a classic powerfeed, stock bolt (fomieless), and a Dye 12" Aluminum. I bought it all new at the begging of the season.

A weekend ago, I noticed my bolt(I think) made a few scratches and nicks in the breech of the barrel where the ball enters and is held in place by the ol' nubbin.

My question is: Is this normal? I think it only did it once, made about 8 marks, and is not doing it now.

Just wondering, it is not a big deal at all, mostly scraches in the black adonisation. No decrement to perfomace.

If it just happened the one time and the gun was new things were probably just getting settled. If fter using the gun a few more times you haven't seen any new scratches it looks like you wont have any more problems. There could have been a very slight imperfection that was removed through firing the gun.
