    ASA Set Screw Size

What is the set screw size for an on/off asa or vertical asa? I know they take a 3/16 allen key but I need to know the screw thread. And do you know where I can find this size? I tried Home Depot and they don't have them.

You would have to be more specific since diferent manufacturers use diferent threads.
For a vert asa in clasic automags the thread is 1/4-20
    for 2 screw asa 10-32
    for bottom line screws 10-32
Some drops with rails 8-32 or 10-32 set screws

I need the set screws for a RT Pro Vertical ASA, CP on/off asa, CP gas thru grip and AGD Bike Grip. I want to plug these holes.

The CP on/off asa set screw fits it fine. But it is not flush on the vertical asa and grips. It is a little long. I measured it and it is about 5/16 of an inch. I'm thinking I need one that is 1/4 inch or 3/16 inch in length. Any suggestions where I can buy these? Prefer black but nickel, or chrome, will do.

      Here are some pics:

OK, what you need is a 1/8 NPT plug. You should be able to find them in the plumbing section of most hardware stores. You can ask a sales person there for a 1/8 NPT plug and they should be able to help you.

Also industrial supply places and places that sell air compressors.
