    Grip-Material Question.

If I wanted to wrap a metal foregrip in a material that would stay and provide some grip, what material would I use? Black preferred.

    Thanks,
    Jason

how big around? you could use an actual bike grip (like from a bike shop) or the rubberizing stuff for tool handles.

You could also use road bike grip tape or racket grip tape, that way shape n diameter won't matter.
They come in plenty of materials and colors, and easily replaced.

It's one of lukes' custom micro foregrips. I like the bike tape idea. It will be raw until I decide to get it anno'd flat black to match, so I wanted to wrap it in something for the time being. Do you think that bike tape would ruin the anno once it's flat flack?

          Thanks!

nope, bike tape is almost always used on annodized bars, and the adhesive is very light (usually doesnt stick and if it does stick comes off easily)

Gun-Wrap or Camo-Form. Available commonly in black, woodland, and ACU. About $10 for a roll meant to cover a rifle/shotgun (2"x12').

It's got the outer texture of hockey tape but it's got no adhesive - it just sticks to itself, so it doesn't leave any residue on the surface of the gun. Put it on tightly and it stays on in the desert or under water. Completely reusable too, and you can layer it to feel like finger grooves or whatever you feel like you want (flat too if you just want the grippy-ness). I've known people to put it on barrels, tanks, over stock grips and foregrips, even on the trigger guards of Minis and Axes to make them more comfortable.

Informative! Appreciated. I'll look into it!
