so ive got an x valve that i somehow stripped out the treads to the feild strip screw...anyways, i also have a few extra am/mm valves, just wondering if anyone knew if i could use a am/mm valve front with the x valve back...just a thought?

Yes, there's, all kinds of fixes. You can also fill with JB weld or similar metal filler, and then drill and retap.
Heli coil is probably the easiest, and the hole is already centered properly.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
