    EP'ing a vert Logic frame

I have a logic frame on the way and I have plans to EP it. I have a few questions regarding this.

Triggering the button for my board: I would imagine I will have to drill a hole and run a rod to the button, or mill a slot in from the top and insert the micro switch? What is the best and easiest way to do so?

Also the MPA3, what is the easiest way to install this?

Lastly, does anyone offer these services? I am fairly savy with tools, but I really don't want to mess this up.

    Any input is greatly appreciated,

    Thank you

I am actually EP'ing a logic frame as well. I drilled a hole like i was putting the rod for a pnue set up in then i drilled hole in the intelli bracket and tapped it for a 4-40 screw to hold the micro switch. The ram you need to flatten the sides mock up were it needs to sit then drill and tap the holes for the set screws. I will try to get you a couple of pics of what i did to mine.

Okay, so you drilled on an angle through the trigger guard? ...I'm gonna need a drill press

Any pics would be awesome. What board are you using? I am building a homebrew board.

Actually i just drilled it by hand (no drill press) at a slight angle. I am using a UTB since i can make it all fit is the frame with the exception of the LPR. I will get some pics of it today for you.

I did end up drilling the hole in the intelli bracket and pressing a 4-40 nut to hold the screw for the switch. The first screw broke on me so i just opened up the back of the bracket to accept the nut it feels stronger than just the tapped bracket and if the screw brakes again i can just replace it.

Best pics i can take for you. Kind of a crappy camera sorry

That turned out very nicely sjrtk! Thank you for the pictures, they help a lot. I'm still waiting on my frame, I need to see how much room I have for my board. The circuit is still on a protoboard until then haha
