    Is My Board Dying?

    I have an emag with v 1.37

i was shooting it around the house (i use it to dust curtains) and noticed on emode i can get about 20 shots and then it will stop working ... the board still blinks but wont fire. When i put the pin back in and take it out it is fine and will work for another 20 to 50 shots.

Also sometimes during firing AGD 1.37 blinks on the screen... which makes me think it is losing power.

I have a new battery, and 100% sure it is getting good contact.

    any thoughts?

I plan on getting one of p8ntball4me's new boards when money permits

Check your grounding screw on the board, as well as where the power wire terminates the positive battery pin. Hopefully this can fix the AGD 1.37 from re-appearing, which tells us the board is cycling power.

For the grounding screw, take the screw out and see if there is any crud in the hole. Take a fine pick or a 4-40 tap and clean the hole out to make sure that the base metal is exposed to make contact with the screw.

For the positive termination, pull is out and make sure it is crimped down hard on the wire.

Also, since you say it is still blinking after it stops firing, take a look at the wiring harness of the HES, and the distance of your trigger magnet as well.

Do you have an O-ring in the bottom of the battery pack?

I have the oring, battery grounding all seems good.

I did install a tunablade since I last played (used magnet from original trigger)

Probably did not notice any problem because i am always in hybrid mode

I have been messing around with the setting of the magnet and it will be able to fire more in a row... but still has the AGD 1.37 blinking and eventually "stalls out"

Is this a situation of finding the sweet spot? And would the magnet being poorly set cause the AGD 1.37 to blink?

      Thanks A lot
