    How to identify level 10

How can you tell the difference between a level 10 or regular bolt, by looking at it?

The reason I'm asking, is because I just picked up an automag classic, but the bolt and power tube tip are identical to the ne in my level 10 equipped automag.

Look at the base that catches the sear... if there is a stem sticking out further from flush it is a L10.
    Stay Classy, AO...

if the bolt n tip are identical to your lvl 10, it's a lvl 10, unless yours isnt a lvl 10:)

Take of the power tube tip and see if it has a carrier with black oring or just a spacer. Carrier means you have a LVLX installed. The tip should have a place for a wrench and not a slot for a quarter to turn it.

If the bolt looks like this, it is a level 10. Notice the tip sticking out from the back end of the bolt. On a level 7 bolt, the stem does not exit the back of the bolt. The outer edge of the base is also beveled. On a level 7 bolt, the back is completely flat.

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
