    Pistol Project questions.

Considering reviving my urge to build a Mag pistol and had a couple of questions. I was thinking of using some sort of stockclass feedtube, but have no idea how these mount. I want to use a ULE body, Is it possible?

My second question is in regards to how to mount the 12g. Is there some sore of changer that utilizes a lever? I have a 12g changer, but it is the type that you have to screw in the end to pierce the pin. Also, the outlet is on the end. Do they make one were the outlet is on the side? Another thought would be somehow to mount the 12g changer in the grip and have a fitting/hose exiting the grip to the valve. Has this been done? Or iis there a frame around that has a changer in the grip that could be modified to work on an Mag?

    Think lk-13 modified a grip to take a 12g.

As for mounting on a ULE, ive seen one where the guy drilled/tapped the top of the body to hold Phantom feed on.

There are lever 12g changers, theyre hard to come by, though there's a run of custom ones on MCB, http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/d...s-anymore.html

Bit pricey imo, but if you really want it

I have spare stove pipe feedneck that came with my MM2k9 body. Wondering if they make some sort of stock class feeder that would mount to it? I really dont want to drill srew holes into an ULE body. If I have to go that route, I would just use the Ariakon kit that I have and use magazines to feed it. Which is potentially an option.

I'll keep an eye on the MCB thread. Unfortunately, it looks like some of the AO preorder curse drifted over there and the guy is waaaayyy behind.

If the PTP feed is about 7/8" you can try one of these:

Seems it is just what you are looking for.

        Good luck!

          pistol mods

check out thread #2319, pg 78 of the pics thread. it has a simple write up on how to do the ULE/Phantom feed mod.

I have 2 bodies that I have done the mod to. both are holding up well. I also have a Ninja dave lever changer that I modified to fit a standard rt asa, but stopped using it because i was having problems running unregulated c02 directly side saddle to the valve. Pistols sound fun but 12gs are difficult to keep consistant without some room to equalize.

The original Nelson pistols had trigger frames with the 12g in the grip. The side popped off to allow access. There was a knob on the bottom to release the CO2. There were also many different versions of lever action CO2 changers. They were plentiful in the early days of tournament paintball before larger constant air back bottles (larger CO2 bottles) were allowed to be used.

Any CO2 mechanism can be made into a lever action release. You can use the part of the mechanism that interfaces with the CO2 and add the lever action part yourself. It would take some thought, but entirely possible if you have the mechanical mind to do it.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
