AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
The problem with all of this is that a magnet is barely able to pull against a magnet through the aluminum. It doesn't fare well pulling just a set screw. It might when the trigger setup is new and clean, but not so good when it gets some dirt and goo in there. At least now I know why it needs the top magnet held in place.
Note: Pretty much all magnet mods require two magnets, one on top of the frame, and one on the trigger. There's a reason for that.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

It does really well in this setup actually since the frame is milled such that the magnet is not pulling through aluminum.
