    Electro Pneumatic Question

I'm going to start piecing together one and want to make sure this frame will be a viable option. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Planet-Eclip...item19cf0a60ad

Most of the threads I find are older and I have been away from the game for a long time. For $20 that would definitely be a good start.

I haven't made a pneumatic egomag setup but off the top of my head, I would say yes.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I think the shape is fine, but the finish always kept me off of them. That mod requires some hole drilling and I don't know how the aurora finish will hold up to that.

Well that's good to hear. I think I'm going to pick a few of those up then. The finish really doesn't mater to me, I've never really shot good looking guns.

Where did you come up with all the parts to finish your gun? I'm struggling to come up with any of the pieces. I've found SMC SY113A-SG-PM3, but that is from a site in England.

Okay I have acquired most of the parts I need for this gun. Now I have a question on the ram. I understand I'll plug the inlet valve and make a new one, but what do I use as the actual piston for the ram? I just kind of assumed that would've come with the ram?

I'm assuming you're using an MPA-3 actuator? If so, there are a few options.

SS MPA-3 Rams $3.75 each (about halfway down the page). Luke designed these specifically to pop right into the plastic MPA-3 ram. Add a little super glue and it will never come out.

I personally did something different. When I was building my pneumag, I was already over budget once I got to this particular part, so instead of paying another $5 for a piston w/shipping, I just drilled/tapped a hole in the plastic MPA piston and then threaded in a small screw. You have to go really slow (or the plastic piston will heat up and melt), but it works. I've had that screw in there for years and it's held up great.
