Wouldnt it be easier to make a setups with ie a micro rock, inside a round hollow grip?

i think using a micro rock is easier for machining purposes...and r and d for that matter. I will say one thing. My sketch is machine friendly, and the best part IMHO is that is doesnt look like an emag battery pack and I know a concentric design wont help. My desing will be more clear when I post my rendering.

I have and love emags, but I think i will just use an emag if I want to carry that around. I had some spare time today and started on a rendering. Ill get it up asap.

I don't think you realize how small it is. It is an inch+- wide, less than 3/4" thick and as tall as you want it, allowing for any manor or external designs. So just larger than a 9volt or as large and curvy as you want, it is also designed to work directly with the ego/etek frames. The final size will depend on the internals used but Using the PPS reg internals it will be larger than if a schrader valve is used.

But the cad is just a ruff and the external design could be made to look like anything.
