I like steel braided but it easily scratches up your marker. I was thinking about using black hockey stick tape, that stuff is durable and wouldn't scratch your marker. What do you guys think?

Hose wrap stuff works good. Can get from hydraulic/auto shops if they have it.

Shrink tubing is also good to use. Any electronics store will have a variety of sizes and lengths. Get a size that just barely lets the fittings to slide through.

Does anyone have a pic of shrink tubing on a hose? I have never seen it before...

                  What diameter heat shrink tubing?

                  3/8" or 1/2"

Anyone with experience with this stuff?

                      Looks like 1/2"

I bought 3/8" but it won't fit over the nut in the front (behind the thread). Looks like 1/2" will fit.

Gotta go back to the store.

Shrink wrap, and electric tape work.
