Best detents?

Hey all! What is the consensus on the best detents currently available for mags?

I seem to be having problems with my warp-left Tac One double-feeding using a Q-loader and I'm considering adding a second detent. If I go to all the trouble of tapping a second detent I figure I might as well get better detents at the same time.

most are using CP angel ball detents. you have to watch out not to tighten them down all the way, they will reach to far inside the body. some are using fatter oring to prevent that or blue locktight.

anyone know where to buy and what size the fatter oring is? trying to find them.

I actually just use the stock ones on most of my Mags. Cheap and easy to get.

I'm with OPBN - I use the stock AGD detents with no problems. If your Qloader is double-feeding past it, you might want to check your prewinds on the pods first.

I've only heard of people using the CP detents recently, but I've also heard good things about the Kila magnetic detents. I just could never justify spending that kind of cash on something that looked better and worked perfectly well in its stock form.

Thanks for the opinions guys! I had looked at the Kila detents but also thought they were pretty expensive (and ugly). I'll just stick with what works then and save the cash. Where's the best place to purchase AGD detents? Tuna? Direct from AGD? I always hate buying small items like detents because I know the shipping will cost more than the goods...

Tuna is usually more reasonable on shipping. Lukes offers additional detent tapping, and he's reasonable.

I once had a ULE body with dual detents done by Luke. That solved every feeding issue I had with my halo. Maybe it'll work for your q.
