Not often I post here, but it's the best place. :)
Been taking way too long to finish parts for people, and finally found out it's a dumb mistake on my part. Blocking the center hole in an x-valve would make it feed from the top (as intended) similar to a classic valve, but the on/off assembly doesn't look built to allow that. So I get to make more parts.
so, part one: Is there any reasonable source for on/off assemblies any more? I'd need to buy three or four. This would be much preferable to making things from scratch.
Part two: Even if I can modify them, I need more o-rings. Any good sources for these, or can someone at least fill me in on the sizes of the on/off O-rings (internal and external) and the ones used on the reg valve pin assembly?
A couple o-rings and washer on that would be so much easier than cutting a grooved pin every time...
EDIT: Stupid me... I just thought of this.
I see that air flows through the regulator piston, but does it actually cut off completely until the bolt resets?
In other words, if that vent hole in the side were plugged, and you left the regulator pin out (but were using regulated air already), would the valve still work?
