    X-Mag on/off Issue

    So I was running some lube trough my X-Mag and noticed that the on/off switch is not working. When I pull the battery plug it goes on, but flipping the switch has no effect. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? Last time I played with it it worked fine, now no on/off.

      The battery plug is the switch unless you have an aftermarket switch installed. The only other switch is the rotary selector above the HES. The selector only moves the mechanical stop out of the way so that you can shoot the gun manually.

      Does the gun shoot in manual mode? If not, then your problem is most likely bolt stick and needs a carrier size adjustment.

      If the gun shoots in manual mode but not in electronic mode, then you have an electronic issue. If so, you need to diagnose whether the board is shutting off when asked to fire the solenoid, does the solenoid fire but not have enough power to push the sear, or is the trigger magnet adjusted properly to activate the HES.
      Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
