    Gas Through Frame Question

I know, I've searched the forum and understand the basics of running an air line through the grip frame.

My question is how do people run the air from the bottom of the grip into the asa?

The threads I've been able to find show the basics of drilling into the valve and through the rail but seem to pass over the section I'm looking for.

In case you're wondering, I am working on a Z-grip mag project. Just sent my rail and frame to Lukes for ule milling and am also having the airline milled in the rail.

    Thanks

I'm guessing it's similar to how Pneu-sleepers are built. You use a CP direct mount that has a small hole drilled in the top that sits against the frame. Then mill out a small recess for an o-ring that will seal the asa against the frame. Then drill and tap the bottom of the frame for a fitting and run the line up.

If you don't want to run a direct mount asa then you can probably set it up so the air port exits the side at the bottom of the frame. Would need some plugs to plug up extra holes tho.
