    My mag wont shoot

I am in a bit of a mental pickle, my mag will start shooting and then stop. I turn the asa off than on and it will shoot for a few more shots and then stop again. I have a level 10 installed with xvalve and ult kit.

I have 2 shims and he carrier with no markings ( gun is not leaking at this setting so I let it be)

tried with both gold and red mainspring with similar results

the ult has 4 shims in it

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I am heading to work but I will update with any suggested fixes later. Thank you for all the help.

i have the same issue with one of my ult mags, i put a regular on off and its fine so im guessing its going to be an issue with your ult...i have no spare parts so i cant fix mine, someday i will

Well first thing first, you could be starving the valve with your ASA on/off. Sometime the on/off will push the pin on the tank too much and actually cut the air flow.

Thanks for the tips guys, I checked the tank and it is good. I did fiddle a little more with the shims and carriers on the level 10 and seems to be fine now, or at least for the moment. I replaced the on off as suggested and created a fully automatic death machine but I have no need for that so I guess I will need to work on dialing in the ult and not through a different assembly in. Thanks again for the help.

You are getting bolt stick. Take all the shims out of the powertube and reduce the ULT shims to 3 to start. Then use the largest carrier size that does not produce a leak down the barrel. Always use the same white carrier oring in each carrier you try. Once you find the largest carrier that doesn't leak, you can try 4 ULT shims in your ULT again. Don't bother with the level 10 shims in the powertube.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
