Paintballs and a glass of water trick?

I heard...I think on this board that you can make your paintballs less fragile by placing them in a bag with a glass of water. Is this true and how do you do it? Does the bag have to be air tight?

    thx peace

If you did this just right it would make them less fragile but if you left them too long they would swell. This could get so bad they won't feed into your breach (they could still look fine) very well let alone fit nicely in your barrel. We all know what happens when the paint is too big for the barrel...POP!

Generally overnight under household conditions will be sufficient and not cause significant swelling. (See Tom's article under Resources and Tech Tips).

Actually just poor the water into the bag. Make sure to get a good even coat over the balls.
