    Question about a rail

I have what was described as a "Factory" Ultra light rail. It's RT lenght and is very hollowed out. Can anyone tell some of the history behind this rail? Thanks
I took the road least traveled...now where the hell am I ?

As far as I know AGD never did an "Ultra Light" rail.

Could be my Ultra Light rail design milled on a factory stock rail.

      Post a picture.

AGD most certainly did do an ULE rail for the Emag. I have a bunch of them here.

Yeah, I've run across a few myself. The only ones I've seen personally have been on Emag rails though.

I'm pretty sure there were some Tac One barrels like that.

That's definitely a Tac One rail, one made for longbow/qbow setups. I've had one exactly like that before. I never could figure out what the black epoxy material was though, or .. why?

The epoxy looks like it fills a pocket that was milled out in front of the sear assembly similar to the small pocket behind the sear assembly. Because there is nothing else open to that pocket, any gaps at the edge of the grip frame and the rail would allow debris to accumulate in the pocket. It may also help provide a larger stable surface to fasten the grip frame against rather than having an empty hole.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
