    Retro Valve and Tourny Locks

Quick Question: (Yes, I did a search before I posted, two actually)

I am about to order a ReTro Valve from AGD. My question is that I may use the gun to play in tournaments. From the research I've done (I looked at the exploded view of the RT Valve on www.airgun.com) I'm wondering how the whole tourny lock thing works on the RT valve. Any info is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks ~

Retro Valves don't need tourney locks. The adjuster has a smooth surface on the outside so it's impossible to adjust the velocity by hand. On the AIR valve with the external threads exposed, they provided enough gripping surface to change the velocity by degassing the gun and turning on the velocity adjuster by hand. The Retro Valve was designed so you don't need a tourny cap.

You're not suppose to be able to. Even if you can, it's designed not to be able to adjust by hand. Either way, Retro Valve tourney locks don't exist.
