    moving to nitrogen

I've had my mag for a little over a month now and have been running it off of co2 without too many problems but I'd like to upgrade to nitrogen expecially with the weather always dropping and raising to abnormal temps here in New England. Anyways I don't have too much money right now so if anyone could sugest a cheap yet effective way to move to nitrogen that would be great. Thanks.

Crossfire makes a decent 68CI Steel tank which you can find online for a little over a hundred bucks. PMI is another manufacturer who makes good tanks for a reasonable price.

You can also look on E-bay for tanks as well. If you're lucky enough to win one in an auction you can sometimes get them at great prices. Another alternative is to find a used tank.

The thing to remember when bidding for a tank on E-bay or buying a used one is to find out when the tank was last hydro tested. Most tanks need to be tested every three to five years. It would be a bummer if you buy a used tank and can't fill it because it needs hydro testing.

I know that this is your first post, but before creating a new thread, do a search for the topic first. The topic of your thread has been asked and answered many times. There are some who will get upset with you if you continually ask questions that have been answered many times. Anyway, welcome to the AO Forum. PureE small 48ci tanks

Unless you are at a air included field with air between games stay away from the draw of the $70 48 c.i. tanks. I get about 400 shots from them and am changing to a 114 c.i. I bought on ebay for $115. Its a little big but I get close to half a case out of it. Look to the 4500 psi tanks if your field supports. Good luck

Because their are new things to talk about, and people get sick of answearing the same question 2 times a day.

I think www.paintballgear.com sells steal tanks for around $80? These tanks can just screw into the same ASA as Co2 tanks. I personally use a 68/3000 crossfire tank, which i have had no problems with. I think the prices are about $140 new now. 4500psi tanks, start around $350 i belive, but that is probably out of your price range.

Where in New England do you live?

I would just go to your local field and pick up a Pure Energy 48ci. $60-70 no shipping!

Never heard of Firestorm but the only ones I know of are the Flying Dutchman Dutchman and Rouge.

If ya can, try to go to the Dutchman. I will be reffing there along with -Son-. Perhaps we will meet up!

hmm dunno if i'd be able to cause when i go up next week (22nd) my friend's dad (who lives in maine) will be driving us and he's always really busy being the manager of a local resturant but I'll talk to him and see if it's any trouble. If it is maybe I can go up some other time in the near future.

If you are looking for a good nitro system for the price you can get a 68ci 3000psi fiber rapped Bulldog nitro system for around $150. If you are leaning towards something a little cheaper, you can get a 47ci steel adjustable bulldod for only $100 at PaintballGear.com.
I see a lot of people run a macroline hose strait from the CA to the reg., but i prefer stainless steel hose and a foregrip. The foregrip really levels the gun better and seems more comfortable. I would rather use stinless hose because it is more reliable and wont leak or blow off the fitting. I would also reccomend a dropforward to help to level your gun. (mags tend to be back heavy)
