    My bolt keeps moving

I have a 68 mag with a stock bolt. Whenever I shoot the bolt turns clockwise a little bit and then it will turn back. No I do not look down the barrel, but what I do is I look at the bolt and see if the three sides are in the same space before and after I shoot. I was wondering what my problem could be. I oil my gun a decent amount, but am I oiling it in the wrong places?

    Thanks for all your help,
    Eugene

concidering the bolts are round you can't stop the spinning. All automag bolts do this. It will not hurt the gun or performance at all

      Eugene-

I forgot to address this issue in the last e-mail I sent to you. It moves clockwise from vibrations. This is a good thing because it helps to spread out the wear on the bolt latching surface evenly. If the bolt didn't move, you'd have the rest of the bolt latching surface without any wear and you'd have to get a new bolt much sooner.

Yes we had a nice long post on this way back. Speculation was that they turn clockwise in the northern hemisphere and counter clockwise in the southern. But we have not been able to confirm yet.

I think it depends on which way the main spring coils.
