It might flake and wont be as durable. If youve got money to burn, do it and tell us how it comes out. I would suggest powder coat though. Email this guy to have it done.

i have had redrider do 2 things for me, both times i have had problems with the powdercoat both times. the second timei had him do the whole gun and the powdercoat flaked off on the body rail and i didnt even use the gun more than 2 times. think about it before you do anything and you may want to save your money and get it annoed but you cannot get the body annoed only the body rail, frame if its metal and so on.

It's possible to do it yourself. I did my Minimag's body with a coat of Rustoleum primer then went over it with a coat of Rustoleum matte black. It turned out nice and has been that way for over 4 years. In fact, I just saw a new style of paint that I'm going to use, so I have to strip off the old stuff and redo it--but now I know how to do it better!

I did it myself because it was cheap, easy, I did it exactly how I wanted, and it's not permanent. I'd rather spend the money on upgrades that will actually enhance the performance of my mag...

Just remember: putting stickers on your car won't make it faster.

Jah871: Sorry but you will always have problems. I could do it 50 times and something will always be wrong. Good luck in life.

(P.S. You are the only one having problems)

Your probably better off with powdercoating. If you do choose to paint it yourself, use a very durable paint, make sure you don't get anything inside the body, or on the area where the mainbody touches the rail.
