    new idea for a frame

the thing on the bottom is the built in cradle and the line to it runs inside through the gun and exits near the top of the frame. Theoretically by utilizing the angle that the tank is at, it will be more stablizided. Maybe adding an adjustable system for the tank angle will be designed later, but for now thats all i got. Tell me what you think.....

i like the idea as a whole. my senior year is high school i made a fraim that was like a ozi. it was verticle and used 45 grips. it had a built in off set drop forward. it was sweet.

o ya. the only thing i would change is the trigger guard. the slant restricts room for your finger. thats why i hate the new dye's. the intelli is greight because it is streight down.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

yeah i never really thought about the trigger guard being detrimental to the performance but thanks.

If you are talking about making the air line run through the trigger grip, good idea, I think. Eliminate the whole macroline wraping up everywhere and in the way. Interesting to see a custom adg valve with a port milled into the bottom, and a custom grip that feeds air vertically up directly into it. Would have to work hard on clearances to ensure didn't interfere with sear actions, and possibly electronic stuff for things like emag though. But would be cool.

I believe the SL-68 II has that same exact system. :

            here goes

I never really knew the sl68 had that system, never even held one. so i went and looked at pictures and noticed how they were not adjustable. The drop foward i have on mymag now doesnt balance the gun the same when i have the DYE stainless on as it does when i have a 10" sp on. Thats where i feel the adjustability of the tank really helps... So i went back into AutoCAD 2k and and restructerd the trigger and guard a little, then went down and redesigned the bottom to allow it to be adjustable. Im not entirely sure how to make the macroline inside the frame connect to the cradle at the bottom, so i thought the best i dead would be to leave a little play in the line inside the gun so that when the tank angle was adjusted the line would move either in or out of the gun by a couple mm. I think there is a better way to do that, and maybe an AGD airsmith could give me the answer. So that said, heres my updated design. Sorry about the airline inside the gun being kinda messy, its very hard to do a spline that has a mate.

i like the new trigger guard. you could run a fitting at the top of the handel and the run a short hose to the valve. your making me want to custome mill another trigger frame

once again i was unhappy with the previous design, so i made a new one....hopefully once i get all of the bugs worked out of it im going try and add some style and make it in 3d, but thats another story.... As you can see, i made the entire cradle completly adjustable, it can move foward and backwards and at either end can change the angle. i would really appreciate it if i had a little more input from other people on whether they like the idea, or hate the idea, and how i can improve apon it. Thanks predater for your input tho...

well, you diddnt show the airline in that one.. the trigger guard looks a little like a Z, meaning us foregrip users wouldnt be able to use one with out an extender, and maby make it detachable? Looks great.. I wouldnt really want to buy one.. Adjustable is a good idea, but I would rather stick with my good ol' non airline thingy grip.
                    Maby Drop Forward compatible?
