          What type of barrel?

          I think this can be done, but would have to cut the twist lock up to the breach opening, making it shorter barrel.

              Ken at KPCS has done it, sorta. had a Lapco bigshot that was gouged by a wire detent that was caught by the bolt, and Ken rethreaded it.
