warp feed board questions

Has anyone tried replacing the stock warpfeed board with on from some of the newer hoppers. I have been looking at some of the halo board upgrades and there not to expensive and allow for some other features as well like the rf synk. Just some thoughts while i dont have a warp right now to see how everything hooks up. Lets hear some of your thoughts

One problem would be a halo style board off the 4 pack setup only put about 3 volts to the motor and the warp puts 12 I believe if not thefull 18
