I just got a BSA 30 mm sight, and I want to know can I mount it on my 68 automag. How do it do it, do I need a mouting kit? If so where I can get one?
How to mount a sight on my mag?

Buy a sight rail. You can find them on most online paintball stores. Here's one to get you started:

Well, first i'm going to give you a lecture, then i'm going to help you.
Scopes on paintball guns are useless. They limit your field of view. So your not going to notice that guy comming to bunker you as quickly or at all. Aside from that, paintguns arn't really accurate/consistant enought to use a scope. Your not going to be able to zero it as any long range, because your barrel will get in the way, and the only thing you MIGHT use a scope for is longer ranges (you have to angel your gun upwards, enough so that you won't be able to see anything but the barrel through your scope if you set it that far). I would say forget the scope, and buy a usefull upgrade.
Now, to install a scope you need to put a site rail on your gun. They are really very simple. You can get one from many online paintball stores, or pick one up in the classified here cheap. All you do to install it is take out the valve, and it slides right onto the back of the gun.

I don't have my gun here in front of me...but can the body rail double as a mount for a scope? So a scope could be side-mounted? I agree with Pyro, scopes serve very little purpose in paintball, but I'm just trying to help out.

hummmm
That is what my friend told me too, he said it is useless and the rail will scarch the body of the gun too. He said becuase it is so tight in the gun body, if I insert the rail on the gun I will scarch the body.
I already bought the sight from ebay, I guess the reason I want to put the sight on is becuase of the look (sound stupid right). I guess I will pick one up and see how it work out. Thanks for you help Pyro and beam.
The side rail sound interesting too, anyone know I can find more infor on it? pics?

I'm going to toss in my 0.02 bucks.
Not all sights restrict your field of view. Any zero-magnification red dot sight can be used with both eyes open, giving you the same peripheral vision you would have if you were sighting down the barrel of your gun. The sight described by ylun (BSA 30mm) appears to be a zero-magnification red dot sight.
It is possible to zero in a sight even with the inherent inaccuracies of paintballs. Pick an engagement distance (say 50 feet or so), put a plywood target out at that distance, mount your gun in a steady rest, and blast away. After about twenty or so shots, dial the sight in so that the dot falls in the middle of your shot grouping. If your gun/paint/barrel generates a tight grouping, then the red dot sight will work very well for you. If your grouping is wide (tippmann M98C with stock barrel at 100 feet, for example), you might want to consider a closer engagement distance to take advantage of your sight.
I own two red dot sights. I've used one of them since the old pump gun days in the lat 1980's. When used properly, they work nicely. This past weekend I managed two sigle shot eliminations at 60-75 feet, and a four shot elimination against a laterally moving opponent at a similar distance. If I had been sighting down my barrel instead of through the red dot sight, I'm pretty sure I would have missed on those single shot eliminations.
Where a red dot sight really starts to shine is during games where you can't see your paintballs heading downrange and adjust fire accordingly... i.e. night games on a dimly lit field. Being able to predict where your first shot will go (to within a foot or so) often makes the difference between being the eliminator or the eliminated.

Sight for Mag
Buy a slide on sight rail directly from the AGD Online Store. I've used a sight on my old gun, and Spyder TL Plus. It didn't work really well because it was only zeroed for a short distance, and when you are in a hailstorm of paint there is no time to look through it. You just have to return fire as fast as you can. It's not practical for playing, but for target shooting its ok.

Well, I got a 10X scope, and that thing was awsome. If made my gun shoot soooo much futher and more accuratly. I was able to sit in the very back and pick off everyone on the field. I played me vs everyone else at the field with that thing, and they couldn't get me because of the mad sniper skills it gave me.
Note: That was sarcasm
Scopes are useless.

Well it's true, sights are useless for aiming. They can be used in woods games or big speedball fields like binoculars. You can see farther, but I doubt if you put the little red dot on your target, it's going to hit it perfect. The're cool to have for woods game though, you can use it like a scope and see people that are farther a way."If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."

Yeah that's pretty true. I bought one for a laugh, it was only like 10 bucks, and you get nasty tunnel vision. I was getting hit way too much so I just took it off, it was so useless.Originally posted by PyRo
If your playing right, you shouldn't have time to use a scope."If everything is under control your not moving fast enough."
