Powdercoat a classic valve

Just kicking the idea around. Anybody ever done this? Would it mess up any tolerances? Thanks

if you don't powder coat the bottom of valve (the part that comes in contact with rail) you shouldn't have any issues. That being said can you powder coat stainless?
