minimag upgrades

I just recently bought a minimag. I want to replace the vertical bottle feed with a bottom line but i want to put some sort of regulator or expansion chamber on it. What do you guys recommend i do?

just get a gas thru foregrip, some macroline, and an asa. if your using co2 get a good ex cham instead of the gas thru. maybe a drop forward also.

first are you using nitro? if not do a search with the word "co2". it will give you some links on how to set up your gun with co2. i sugjest nitro thow. your gun will never performe its best with co2. im really sorry to tell you that.

operating pressure

another question what is the operating pressure of the minimag?

The internal operating pressure of a 'mag is regulated down to around around 400 PSI. most usually run about 600 - 800 PSI abouts into the valve so it has enough pressure to regulate down to the valves proper operating pressure.

so it is ok to get a nitro tank thats preset at 800-850 psi?

yes. that presure will work great with a mag valve.

Mag will be fine on anything from around 700-1200. So 850 is all good.
