    Xvalve removal question

    Here's the deal,

When I remove my X-valve from the ULE body, it doesn't require me to pull the trigger to release the valve. Let it be noted that I'm using a Armada rail, with a Z-grip.

Reason I ask, because I don't want to end up snapping my on/off pin in half. When using the stock ULE rail, I always had to depress the trigger to release the valve.

Should I be worried, or am I in the clear?

maybe you just have the perfect amount of lube to get it to do that? that's a good question.

I haven't had to depress the trigger to remove the xvalve from my ule body as of now myself. my sear naturally wants to "hang" with the rear portion elevated keeping the pin in a retracted position once the gun is de-gassed.

it really depends on how you degas the gun. the on/off pin, only needs to be pushed back if the gun wasn't "shot out". the on/off being exposed, means that the dump chamber was filled, and the pin reset.

this is not a huge thing. if you pull the valve, just remember to pull the trigger, when it hangs up. as long as you don't try to use a 9000lb winch to pull the valve, you won't hurt anything.
