    double shot issue

I had an issue start a few weeks ago were I end up firing 2 shots with almost every trigger pull so I started narrowing down the issue--it is not the detent nor am I getting an r/t effect like a thought--the gun is firing one shot on the trigger pull and the 2nd shot(with much less velocity) is coming out on the release. Any ideas how to fix this? The bolt and sear are in good shape and all orings have been replaced(no leaks) minimag body and valve with an intelliframe setup.

A shot on the release would indicate that you are getting a burst of air past the on-off pin before the sear has rotated fare enough to engage the bolt.

    Is your bolt spring weak?
Is your on-off top in upside-down?
Is your on-off pin in upside-down?
Is there a piece of dirt in the valve on-off area?
Is the rail bushing in place?
Is the sear pin fully pushed into the rail?
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

did a complete rebuild and did not see any issues---I got the gun used so maybe the sear is just getting worn although it looked ok--I am planning on getting a lvl 10 bolt soon so maybe I will just get a near sear at the same time

Yes, check this too. If the sear tip is rounded, it can cause the bolt to slip off. The bolt lip should be examined as well. A combination of both may combine to be a problem when each by themselves may appear ok in any other gun.
