x-valve venting help please.

    x-valve venting help please.

    why would my x-valve be venting out the little hole on the left side of the front half of my valve when I gas it up?

    for some reason I cant remember why this happens.

    One of the two small orings separated by the split washer on the front of the regulator pin assembly is leaking.
    Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

      or the reg seat oring could be bad or it is turned up too high

          Wouldn't this just cause venting out the back?

            it's a high pressure failure so it could be due to a few things.

              Generally, those two orings seal the front section from the back section with an air relief. Most failures I've seen with them involve a piece of dirt or a an oring that has gotten hard over time.
              Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

                It just happened to me. I cleaned everything and lubed the hell out of everything then aired it up and dry fired. That took care of it for me.
