    HELP: 1/8 NPT Bleeder Valve

I'm looking for one that I can screw into an available port on my MaxFlo that will allow me to bleed out the pressure in the system. All I can seem to find are push button ones only rated to 300psi. I need something that can handle upwards of 1200psi. Even if I have to use a wrench to bleed it out, as long as it can be done safely.

THE BACKSTORY: I had an Emag w/ MaxFlo that I couldn't depressurize because the on/off oring blew. Had to score the macroline to release the pressure.

I know what you're going to tell me, "get a different regulator". I could, yes, but I'd like to use the MaxFlo. Let's make this work.

Links I've found during my search.

I have done this. There are some other suggestions also in this thread. Not sure if the pics are working or my work is blocking them.

Use a check valve or a pro connect

I found these when looking for other mag parts. Seems bit like venom high line deluxe, but I haven't tested them. If it's anything as good as venom then I think that would be the perfect solution.

I've thought about a Slide Check and the Pro Connect 3. Ideally, I want something that will remove ALL gas in the system when disconnected. The PC3 only depressurizes one side of the system. I know the MaxFlo is already pretty big, I don't really want to add anything else "clunky".

Preferably I'd like to put something like this Relief Valve on there (Typically found on keg taps to depressurize).:

Yeah, but I don't have a forward grip because it's an EMag. That wouldn't work.

Well, the pictures weren't working for me. But, that is ideally what I'm looking for. I'd imagine a push/pull style valve isn't feasibly with that amount of pressure. But, I did find a few variations of that valve. Now, to just find someone who'll sell one. It says they're rated to 10,000psi...

Well, I sent them a Request for quote... Would anyone else be interested in these valves if I am able to get some?

Ah, sorry. Missed the E-Mag part.

                      Here you go.
I took a bit of time for me to get one, had to go through the regional distributor who was confused why I only wanted one and thought I was trying to reverse engineer them. I think I paid $26 + shipping

I would have liked it to sit a bit closer to the regulator, but this was the best solution i could find that had a high enough pressure rating and met the same requirements that you described.

The next time you have the on/off plug out of the max-flo, take a needle file or some 400 grit sand paper to the trailing edge or the air port that runs against the little o-ring. They left it sharp. The o-ring presses up into the hole as it goes by and the edge cuts a scallop out of the o-ring, which you should be able to see, at least under a magnifying glass.

                        ***

The cut should be happening when you turn it "on", iirc. You just don't notice it until you try to turn it off.

Yeah, it's happening FAR too often with this particular MaxFlo. I've got 3 and this one seems like it blows ever other turn.... The last time I had it apart (yesterday) I took a dremel with a sanding stone on the end and ground it down, it was still cutting a nice chunk out of the oring. I need to file it down with some of the needle files I've got.
