    Shorter or longer? I thought this problem was related to a powertube spaced that was too short, not too long?

    The sear is brand new, and the bolt show no signs of wear.

        On a pump mag, it is related to a spacer that is too long. A spacer that is too short causes bolt stick issues in level 7 mag, which is what you want in a pump mag. A spacer that is too long causes leaking on both a pump mag and a regular mag.
