Anything above 700 you should be ok. The suggested input pressure is 800+ though.
It doesn't matter what pressure you put into the valve, you will still use the same abount of air. Their is anoother reg built into the valve itself, so nomatter what pressure you input, it will regulate it down to 450 for so.

So ur saying the gun automatically regulates the psi down to 450, well is there any way to make it lower, if so how, and is it worth it.
