    Old RT Frame Conversion?

    Hey Guys,
I did some searching and I hope this is the right place for this question...

Can you modify a regular Automag frame to fit an RT? It appears that all you'd need to do is drill out the back frame screw hole to accept a banjo bolt.

    Thank you!

As long as it doesnt have wings That is correct. I'm using a Y on my classic rt. And I had a first gen Iframe on it before the Y was created. Both work great. Make sure you drill a smooth clean hole. Mine are actually beveled on each end for smooth banjo passage

I just drilled an Intelliframe 11/32 and the banjo bolt wouldn't go thru.

          I had to go buy a 3/8.....

I just picked the one out of the index box that fit the hole in the cf frame just a little snug.

I used to have a drill index.

Not sure what I did with it.....

Bought an 11/32 and then had to go buy a 3/8.

Hmmmm. I honestly don't know what size mine is drilled. I've got a machinists drill set and a drill press. I just worked my way up till the banjo slid thru without any real resistance. Works great.
