ok im relatively(sp) new to mags and im trying to fix a friends minimag. ok when you pull the trigger, it goes into like full auto or something and continues to do it until you let go. and at low pressures i get bolt stick. like i said i know a little about mags but evidently not enough to fix this problem. any help is appreciated...

You may need to replace your bolt spring, bolt, or sear. Or maybe all 3. Check to see if the spring extends beyond the nose of the bolt, if not (or even if it just barely does), then you should replace it. Check the sear and bolt (where they come into contact) for excess wear. To fix bolt stick, you need to put a longer spacer in.-Gig 'Em Ags! -

it sounds like you might have heavey wear on the sear where it holds the bolt it place when air'd up. chack to make sure it's not rounded.Comment
