leaking out the side and the powertube.

    its an RT pro valve.
I just replaced the orings on the valve assembly and the Teflon spacer in between those orings

replace all the on off orings,
    oiled up every thing.

I even got rid of the residue of the rotten orings.

what would cause the leaking out the side.

I'm guessing the leaking out the power tube with the lvl 7 is its just not spaced right.
ill get to that after I fix the side leaking.

    any help would be awesome.

I'm pretty sure it leaked for a little after they were replaced also, after some dry firing it fixed the problem. did you try cycling the valve to 'break in/seat' the orings?

yeah I have been dry firing it to see if it would seat them.

You did something wrong. You didnt mess up the order of the spacers did you. Do you have one you didnt mess with to compare??

              no I didn't,
              I thought of that too.
just replaced the orings and the clear harder spacer with a new one.
tonight im going to fix the powertube leak.

but it is im sure something I did wrong. there is no way a valve would just say, hey I have a bunch of new orings and oil and im not going to work.

i've had several that had to be taken back apart, the o rings wiped of nothing i could see and put back together to work, sometimes more than once.

so it's leaking from the little pin hole in the side? have you pulled a working valve pin assembly out of another valve and tried it? do you have other valve pin assembly o-ring you could try?

Inspect the reg seat oring and makes sure there are no pieces of crap down the reg pin hole. Make sure the velocity is not cranked up to 500.....

Maybe post a high res pic of your reg pin assy, so we can double-check the stack up.

Some other unlikely things that came to mind.
                        1. You say side hole. Just want to make sure you mean the side vent hole on the forward half of the valve and not the other tiny vent hole on the back half of the valve.
                        2. Are you sure it's leaking from the side vent hole and not from the split between the valve halves coincidentally at the same circumferential location as the side vent hole?

yes it is leaking from that hole on the front half.
                          ill get pic up soon
I'm betting its crud in the reg pin assembly hole.

i've gotten to the point where i keep a can of air duster handy to blow out valves before assembly.
