    adjusting the emag trigger

hey all i have my emag and i like the trigger alot, but i have heard things about adjusting the trigger and i would like to find out how to do it, and do a good job of it... now ive felt emag triggers wayyyyyyy shorter than mine so i know it can be done, im just wondering where are the spots to adjust the trigger, ie. make it shorter or lighter. if anyone can fill me in on ways to acheieve the trigger i want that would be greatly appreciated, im looking to shorten it up a little bit and to make it a tad lighter.

    thanks whoever can help

I don't know about shortening the actual pull, but you can adjust the magnet in the trigger, so that it closes the hall sensor sooner in the pull. There is an allen screw in the trigger for this. As for lightening the trigger pull. All you have to do is remove the magnets that are in the top of the trigger frame. Remember the Emag uses rare earth magnets rather than springs to control trigger return. This is why the trigger has a progressive feel. try removeing one at a time until you get the desired feel.

        Do a search

If you haven't done a search yet I would highly recommend it. Yes, you can take up the travel on the trigger. You have to take the marker down and look at the top the grip at the selector switch for e-mode & m-mode. There is a small set screw that you need to screw in to shorten the travel but you also have to keep in mind the magnet in the trigger will need to be adjusted also. If I'm not mistaken the travel of the trigger is measured at the top part of the trigger, not the bottom. Back out the trigger magnet after you have adjusted the travel, then bring the trigger magnet back in until the marker fires (in e-mode). The adjustment you make to the travel will only work in e-mode, it stays a long pull in m-mode. You can also lighten the pull by removing a magnet on the top part of the grip, or add one to increase the pull. I know I'm not the best at explaining this, that's why I recommend doing a search.

        Hope this was some help.

I'll do a pic thread showing how to adjust the E-Mag trigger for people that don't have the video and sticky it in this thread. You can get the video and it will show you how to adjust the trigger.
