    question about KAPP Extenders

Anyone have any problems with their KAPP Extender? Also, are there any other companies that make an extender?

I used to have one and I had no problems with it. Most people use them to extend the foregrip with Z's.

I'm thinking of doing the same, if I ever get my hands on a Z.

The reason I posted this because I read a review and some of the users stated that the KAPP extender was wobbly.

I got one to use with my z-grip. And now I use it with my hyperframe. It isn't wobbly....just tighten it properly.

Mine is a bit wobbly, and it's tightened down full. It's not noticable on the field though.

I used mine to get a Benchy foregrip and Intelliframe to like each other (The foregrip is too thick to mount normally with an Intelliframe).

Sounds like your screw is bottoming out before it gets tight against the body. Mine was tight. Some of them may not be tapped deep enough? Maybe?

I never experienced any probs with mine. Its a trick lil piece, however buy it soon as KAPP is no longer making parts for our beloved mags ( as told to me by a distributer/ store owner) I know tehcavemankevin has one, as he bought my old Mag a month ago contact him and offer him some cash.

Well, according to the KAPP website, they still make a gripframe and Tourney lock, but not the extender.

Great! Thanks for all the responses. Looks like I may just buy the KAPP extender since it's days are numbered.

I never liked how they looked but I did once have one and it was at first wobbly but after getting the right screw and modifying the screw a bit i got it to fit very tight.
