    HELP!!! Minimag w/Co2

I have a Minimag setup with a Palmer Reg and I am running Co2. A local shop said this would be fine. The Co2 tank is not an anti-siphon and I have a custom built drop forward (I made it myself outta Aluminum).

My question is, will this reg act as an expansion chamber or did I just blow $120?

$120??? The stablizer is an excellent CO2 reg, but it dosen't really work the same as an expansion chamber. It will stop some liquid CO2. I haven't had any first hand experiance w/stablizers but I think it will do a good job, I mean stablizers are kinda reknown for it.

Is $120 to much? I have seen it online for cheaper, but I lke to pay homage to the local stores every once in awhile to keep them in business.

If liquid Co2 gets into the Regulator, will it freeze up? I have it setup right on the Vertical adapter and it connects directly to my bottom line.

"Famous Palmer Male Stabilizer. Screws into standard ASA attachments. Use as primary regulator for Co2 use or as a secondary regulator for HPA applications. Adjustable output pressure. By far the best for use with Co2.... "

Do yourself a favor come to San Jose, and I'll give you a 48 cu in PMI steel tank. PM ME so we can get you up and running on Compressed Air. Mags are too nice a marker to be running liquid CO2.

The Palmer Stabilizer will not freeze up with CO2, it's also better than an X-CHamber at keeping liquid out of the gun. You just bought the best addon for a CO2 gun.

BTW, adding a Anti-siphon will improve the ability of your gun to keep liquid CO2 out as well, be sure it's fitted to your gun, otherwise it may act as a siphon.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help. I will stick with the Palmer and may upgrade to HP, depending on how it does with Co2.

I ran my minimag on co2 for several years with a stabilizer. Didn't have a single problem.
