    what???

cockers more gas efficient than mags? how can it be? a ball of the same weight, having the same distace to accelerate should take the same amount of air to go from 0fps to 300fps right? I dont get it. Unless air is being dumped from some cocking device. But its not in a mag, I dont think. correct me if im wrong. so what makes cockers more efficient than mags? or is that just a myth? I think its just a myth.correct me if im wrong. I've heard lots of people say this.

closed bolt in general is more gas efficient becuase it keeps all of the gas behind the ball instead of losing some to blowback or escaping in other ways.

ok so it escapes through blowback but the super bolt reduces blowback (when its working) so were talken very little difference in amount of gas used. right.

It really depends, efficency is due to the design of the gun.
Did you hear about the new european weapons contracts? France is going to make the wooden sticks Spain making the little white flags

right but the auto mag is not just dumping air out of a cocking device. so i dont see how a cocker could be all that more efficient unless were talkin little differances

well the superbolt and long nose bolts are supposed to reduce blowback but it still exists and there is still a lot of air escaping. With a cocker there is no air escaping which increases efficiency greatly. My brothers cocker probably gets 200-300 more shots off a 68 3000 than my mag.

There is no air loss to a cocking device on a mag but with every shot even a little extra gas lost to the feed tube can add up to a lot.
