    Pump mag issues

It was working just fine, then started sound like a chuff from a Level 10 when fired. Stopped cocking/shooting all together.

I think this is the problem:

Can someone post a pic off a properly bent cocking rod?

I think its the user, but what do i know?

    The tech mat looks good.

Honestly, i do think you will need a new rod. Once metal is stressed enough to bend, its not going to hold its shape. You can bend it back, but it will bend again. This will be exactly why it was not cocking. Also check the bolt collar (where the rod contacts the bolt) to check if it is not marred in any way.

Thanks, guys... and for the link, CP.

I figured the rod was a little funky, but worked long enough to make some test shots. The bolt looks fine... it was the first place I checked when I saw the pump rod. Also... The tech mat is fantastic!
