I'm looking to re-anno my ULE body but have no clue how to remove the steel ring. It's not a snap ring so any help would be greatly appreciated.

look at the underneath of the body , long slot stops at front of breach , that little piece of steel you see is a ring , with a Very small screwdriver you can get under it and pop it up ,, or you can look down into the body find the end of the ring spin it to the edge of the slot and then pop it up , get the ring out the washer falls out
