Delrin superbolt? or what bolt is this?

Were the prototype delrin superbolts supposed to have the anti-chop system like the lvl10 bolts of today?

I may have recently acquired one minus it's delrin sleeve and it has the lvl10 anti-chop characteristics.

No. They were just lighter weight to reduce recoil. Please elaborate on it having anti-chop characteristics.

It acts just like my lvl10.

I'll do a video when I get some air this week.

The spring fits perfectly over it without any play though. Just like a normal bolt !

Please do post a video. I'm very curious to see what you've got.

It's a classic valve which was 'pro-magged' and sandblasted 'promag 235' ,by John Sosta. I read in the AO archives that the etched valves were very limited and T.K seemed willing to purchase any that came up for sale. Bolt is a foamy with a hollow central stem.

They were just Delrin bolts and lighter.

No replacement for the Delrin sleeves.

The good ones that didn't wear out hyper quick were nylon but it's impossible to tell which is which.

They were supposedly available in foamiless design but I've only seen foamie versions.

The suoerbolt one would not have that much metal on it without the Delrin sleeve.

Maybe a modified standard level 7 foamie bolt.

That's weird. I don't think I've seen one like that before.

Almost like prototype lvl 10 (the hole) or 3rd party/custom lvl 7 bolt??

                      Interesting.

Tom never seems to have brought anything to light that didn't have a lot of time in the works beforehand.

Definitely appears to be the L10 concept applied to the L7 configuration.

                      How well does it work?

It could be a precursor to the L10 bolt. Basically, a modded L7 bolt, that had the principles of the L10. I say this because of the Sosta link and that TK was willingbto buy them as they were not production models and suspected that there were problems, as evidence with the superbolt and the delrin sleeves...

To a point it is interesting, but i would not trust it. Non-production models often had faults, or were used to find faults with the design.

I didn't get chance to shoot any paint through it. The bolt stopped on a squeegee at various stages within the breach. It's 100% acting like a level 10

I take it that you were using normal lvl 7 power tube spacer and o-ring?
